Details were sketchy, though Toronto did say Reed would be with the club 4 years beyond his current deal.

He stood out with a fantastic 4-0 no-hitter against the Kansas City Brahmas.
"I knew I had a No-No going in about the sixth inning, when I noticed no one was talking to me anymore," he said, referring to the time honored superstition of teammates avoiding the pitcher so they won't jinx the no-hitter. "Don't let people fool you. Everybody on the field and in the ballpark knows what's happening. They just pretend they don't."
For the game Walker totaled 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in his record-setting shutout.
The Toronto pitching coach marveled at his performance, "His mechanics were perfect and I don't think he threw one bad pitch in the whole game. He was that good."
In 22 starts this season, Walker has picked up 9 wins while suffering 6 losses. He has pitched 124.2 innings, allowed 105 hits, struck out 107 and posted a 3.68 ERA. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 82-55, .599 PCT | | Position in Division | 1st, - GB | | Record at home | 45-27, .625 PCT | | Record on the road | 37-28, .569 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 9-10, .474 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 20-20, .500 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 26-10, .722 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 56-45, .554 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 2-8, .200 PCT | | Record in April | 13-8, .619 PCT | | Record in May | 18-11, .621 PCT | | Record in June | 20-7, .741 PCT | | Record in July | 15-11, .577 PCT | | Record in August | 16-12, .571 PCT | | Record in September | 0-6, .000 PCT |
