Talk of a deal between San Diego and Adrián Fernández came together today as the two sides inked a deal worth $24,945,000 over 3 years.
Fernández is highly regarded around Pennant Chase Baseball League for his talents and is expected to add that extra spark to the Rowdies roster.
So far in his career, the 32-year-old Fernández has put up a 3.55 ERA with 77 wins and 41 losses.

Rodríguez will earn $1,520,000 per year over 2 years.

What a way to finish off the year -- being honored with the 1997 Outstanding Hitter Award in the Hoboken League. It had already been a very special season for San Diego's Rafael Bermúdez, but today's announcement really put the icing on his cake.
All season long Rafael Bermúdez gave opposing pitchers fits by hitting .315 as he collected 200 hits, 45 doubles, 8 triples, 51 home runs and 155 RBIs.
