The Stars may be close to working out a deal to trade Ánibal Flores. That's the latest news from the rumor mill. Flores, the 38-year-old center fielder, has said privately that he will not balk at a trade to another team.

"I don't think I did anything wrong. I think my actions were justified."
Those were the words of Seattle's Miguel Ramón after a game between the Loggers and Stars, which featured a benches-clearing fight. The league did not agree, however, both Ramón and the Stars Jack Snell will be suspended 10 games because of their actions.
During this season Snell has 12 relief appearances and registered 0 saves. Batters are hitting him at a .287 rate and his season record is 2-1 with a 6.64 ERA. He has logged 20.1 innings and struck out 11.

In the latest churning of the rumor mill, reports indicate that 34-year-old second baseman Thomas Paterson of the Las Vegas Stars could be on the trading block. While the player refused to comment, the team did not outright deny the claims. "If it'll help this team, we'll make a move," said one team official.
