"It was just one of those games, when everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Iván García said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them."

Victoria was pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard today as Neil Ford blanked Placerville 4-0. He stopped them on 5 hits with no walks and 6 strikeouts.
His skipper said, "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite. He was on top of his game in this one."
