But his effort could not overcome the Fort Worth Falcons, who won the game 7-5.
"I didn't really think about it at the time, although after the third hit, it snuck into my mind," Galván told reporters. "The crowd certainly let me know in that last at-bat, that I was going for the cycle... and I was able to make solid contact and get it. In the end the only thing that matters is that we lost," Galván added.
M. Galván tripled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
Currently Galván has 1 home run and a .386 batting average. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 24-57, .296 PCT | | Position in Division | 4th, 34.0 GB | | Record at home | 15-25, .375 PCT | | Record on the road | 9-32, .220 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 1-3, .250 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 7-7, .500 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 5-12, .294 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 19-45, .297 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 4-6, .400 PCT | | Record in April | 11-17, .393 PCT | | Record in May | 5-24, .172 PCT | | Record in June | 8-16, .333 PCT |
