Speaking after the game, the Key West manager said, "Fred Hollis had everything going for him. He controlled their bat speed, stayed down, had a lot of movement... he had it all...masterful."

Hollis held the Calgary Firebirds to 3 hits and fashioned a fine 7-0 shutout. He had no walks and 7 strikeouts in the game.

"We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," the Calgary skipper told reporters.
