 | Saturday, August 10th, 1996: Dawson Whips Key West Otis Dawson of the Bloomington Bandits shut down the Key West Parrots 2-0 on an excellent 3-hitter, holding them scoreless while ringing up 8 strikeouts and allowing 1 walk. After the game Dawson said, "Guys have been fouling off a lot of pitches lately and I've been getting into too many deep pitch counts, but I'm pleased with the way things went today. I went right after them and stayed ahead in the count." This season to date, Dawson has fashioned a 4-4 mark and 3.54 ERA in 76.1 innings.
