 | Wednesday, September 18th, 1996: Totems Left Fielder Out After the end of today's game between Vancouver and Kansas City, Víctor Gonzáles skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after running the bases, the Totems had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The left fielder will miss at least one week with a strained hip muscle. So far this year Gonzáles is batting .354 with 42 home runs, 127 RBIs and 128 runs scored. |
