 | Tuesday, August 20th, 1996: Indiana Second Baseman Hurt Pedro Sánchez of the Indiana Ninja could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a fractured elbow in a game against the Las Vegas Stars. He is expected to miss at least 8 months. The Indiana second baseman was injured throwing the ball. Sánchez said, "Right now I am pretty sore and I don't feel very good at all." To date this year Sánchez is batting .344 with 8 home runs. |
