And that is just what Randy Emmott did all month long to net the Hoboken League Rookie of the Month Award. In July he slapped 26 hits in 100 at-bats for a .260 batting average. Emmott also racked up 4 home runs, 15 RBIs, and 13 runs scored. Looking at his 1996 season stats, Emmott has compiled a .308 batting average in 103 games with a .364 on-base percentage, while hitting 13 home runs and driving in 59 runs. |
