He was injured against the Reno Avalanche while making a defensive play. Diagnosed as a fractured wrist, the San Diego right fielder is expected to miss 4 weeks. Vázquez was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "There is nothing I can do now. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." Vázquez is hitting .319 so far this season with 111 RBIs and 125 runs scored. He has 205 hits including 31 home runs, 61 walks and .378 OBP. |
