 | Friday, July 11th, 1997: Dogs Blank Indiana, Phillips Winner Pat Phillips of the Toronto Dogs was right on target when he blanked the Indiana Ninja 4-0, yielded 2 hits and totaled 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. Speaking to SION reporters after the game, Phillips said, "I had everything working today and I got some help from my defense, too. They saved my butt a few times." In 1997 Phillips has worked 97.1 innings with 66 strikeouts en route to a 7-2 record and 3.42 ERA. |
